It was crazy to see your pic because I saw a bird driving home and was like - That’s awesome! The white on the wings! - So I was googling and thought maybe that was it but seeing y... It was crazy to see your pic because I saw a bird driving home and was like - That’s awesome! I always grew up calling them catbirds, only to learn that’s actually a different bird entirely. That said, these mockingbirds will absolutely torment cats for sport, haha! We have... I always grew up calling them catbirds, only to learn that’s actually a different bird entirely. That said, these mockingbirds will absolutely torment cats for sport, haha! We have a nest just over the property line in a rhododendron I am going monitor for signs of chicks, soon. They’re guarding the nest pretty vigilantly so I’m sure there’s a clutch. Just don’t want to stress the birds, though.
