I'll start off by sharing what really sparked my interest in birding: Carl. He is a Northern Cardinal who is in my yard multiple times a day. I watched him build a family, with his spouse Carla, whom nested with him and recently had babies! ♥️

It was a very wet holiday weekend here, but we got sunshine today. It makes things a lot easier 😂 the second photo is a little farther off, but he was up there just singing, then...
